Electricians and heating engineers can now take advantage of completely free training with Gillingham-based national heat pump and renewables distributor, Bublshop.
Anyone joining one of Bublshop’s courses will learn to install GivEnergy’s market-leading battery storage systems.
GivEnergy batteries are increasingly popular with property owners seeking green energy solutions because they store off peak, lower cost electricity for use at times when prices are higher – saving the property owner money on utility bills. They can store power from the grid, as well as energy generated by solar panels and heat pumps, bringing freedom from high peak charges and power outages.
Bublshop managing director, Richard Barras, says: “The energy storage industry is booming and there’s a huge opportunity out there right now for anyone able to install technology like this.
“We’re excited to offer this training opportunity to electricians and installers. There’s no better time to upskill – there are currently a limited number of fitters and it’s lucrative work in an industry that’s only going one way! Plus, anyone who passes our advanced course is on the way to becoming one of GivEnergy’s registered installers, which means they could be listed on the GivEnergy website.”
Bublshop’s next GivEnergy training course takes place on Wednesday 1 November and the team will be running two sessions – a standard (introductory) course starting at 9am, and advanced (more technical) training kicking off at 12.30pm. Installers can attend both sessions. Sales training is also available for anyone new to the industry and keen to better understand the key benefits to customers.
