Bublshop boss, Richard Barras, visited Qingdao in China in September to attend the annual Hisense HVAC Global Partner Conference. The event brought together nearly 800 people from across the globe – 100 attending in person, others online – to learn about Hisense’s strategic and development plans, and to see exclusive previews of new products.
During the event’s awards ceremony, Bublshop was presented with an award for Business Growth in recognition of the work the team are doing to establish Hisense HVAC as a presence in the UK, both within the long-established Bublshop distributor network, and beyond.
Richard Barras says: “Our visit included a fascinating factory tour, with a chance to see Hisense’s enormous manufacturing space and the R&D facility, plus a glimpse into the work that goes on behind the scenes to drive the innovation process. The focus is very much upon developing customer-oriented products that are greener, more efficient and increasingly technological.
“But the highlight for us was the unexpected surprise of winning an award! It was great to have our efforts recognised and we’re looking forward to doing more of the same going forward.
